Jo Ingabire Moys is a Rwandan-British writer, actress, director, and editor of 100 Days, 100 Stories. Born during the Rwandan civil war, she survived the trauma of the 1994 genocide before relocating to Uganda and later the UK. She studied English Literature at Queen Mary University of London and worked in film and television before becoming a director. Her BAFTA-nominated short film, Bazigaga, explores the Rwandan genocide,while her debut play, IAmLeah, premiered at Camden People’s Theatre to mark 30 years since the tragedy. To bring this project together Ingabire Moys worked closely with Associate Editor Dr Zöe Norridge – a Reader in African Literature at King’s College, London- and Eric Murangwa Eugene – co-founder of the Ishami Foundation.
