Darla Umutoni Rudakubana

Darla Rudakubana is a trained journalist and communications consultant based in Kigali. She has written for and worked with various publications in Rwanda and the region including The Accelerator, Inzozi and Eve Girl. Her writing journey has been inspired by Ben Okri’s ‘Astonishing the Gods’ and Milan Kundera’s The Unbearable Lightness of Being. She won the Huza Press Prize for Fiction in 2015 for her story ‘The Exit of Fear and Guilt’.
