Annick La Reine Shimwa

Annick La Reine Shimwa is a Rwandan writer and feminist, born on 19 December 1996. She is the founder of The Woke Voices and an ardent arts enthusiast. Her passions are centred around poetry-blogging, scriptwriting, and performing arts. She enjoys exploring Afrocentric cultures and is currently sharpening her leadership skills at the African Leadership College.
