Alexis Teyie

Alexis Teyie is a Kenyan writer and feminist. They co-published a children’s book, Shortcut (2015), as well as a poetry chapbook Clay Plates: Broken Records of Kiswahili Proverbs (2016). Their work is also featured on LitHub, A Long House, This Is Africa and anthologies by Jalada Africa, Short Story Day Africa and Routledge.

Alex is a co-founder of Enkare Review and MagicDoor imprint, and is currently Managing Editor at Down River Road.
