Abdihakin Ubahle

Abdihakin Ubahle is a medical student and freelance journalist. He is a member of Somali Diabetic World, an organization that advocates for
‘Somalis without diabetes’.

His debut novel Hayaan was selected the best fiction in the 2018
Sheko iyo Shahid contest.

Abdihakin writes in English and Somali. Among other things, his writing focuses on health and health-related issues.
